About David

David is a P’aqo (a Shaman & spiritual healer) in the Western P’aqo Nan, the ‘Path of the Shaman’.  His teachers were Majella Fagan of the Wasaw Wacho of Don Juan Nunez del Prado, who was taught by Don Benito Quoriwaman, and Dr. Owen Roberts of the Kiko Wacho of Don Sebastian Sebastian Succle Apaza, who was taught by Don Mariano Apaza.  He received the Mosoq Karpay (P’aqo initiation) from Don Ricardo Apaza Flores and Don Francisco Apaza Flores of Kolpa Kuchu.

David has completed the three-year Shamanic Practitioner Training programme taught by Majella Fagan and Owen Roberts PhD [Green Tara College], which involves multiple initiations from the Andean P’aqo Nan tradition and covers a range of healing techniques from Andean Shamanism, Core Shamanism and African Shamanism.  He previously completed the Pampamesayoq Shamanic training offered by the Serena Anchanchu Centre for Inca Shamanism, and the Foundation Programme and Masterclass in Andean Mysticism taught by Joan Parisi-Wilcox [Q’enti Wasi – House of the Hummingbird].

David is certified as a Level 3 Master Practitioner in Traditional Usui Reiki, having received attunements and training from Majella Fagan (Traditional Usui Reiki Grand Master) at Green Tara College, and is an Associate Member of Reiki Federation Ireland.  He is certified also in Cosmic Heart Activation (Eileen Heneghan Healing Practice & Training).  David is a certified Sundoor Firewalk Instructor, trained by Lottie Moore (Impactology, UK).

David holds current Professional Indemnity insurance through Foyht, an association of independent therapists & practitioners [foyht.org], which covers Shamanic Healing, Soul Retrieval, Reiki and Firewalk instruction.  He is also certified in Basic First Aid.

David holds advanced academic and professional qualifications in Biochemistry and Genetics and worked for many years as an academic in one of Dublin’s University Medical Schools.
