Shamanic Workshops
David offers an occasional one-day workshop on the theme of ‘Entering the Shamanic World’.
This is a gentle experiential workshop which introduces the participants to Shamanism and guides them in their first Shamanic Journey and, later, in a Shamanic Journey to meet their Power Animal. Resources and materials are provided to allow each participant to continue to explore the Shamanic world on their own after the workshop.
‘Entering the Shamanic World’ workshop outline:
- Welcome / grounding / opening Sacred Space
- Introduction to Shamanism and to Shamanic tools (drums, rattles, etc.)
- Break
- Shamanic Journeying: introduction and guided journey
- Debrief and Q+A session
- Break
- Shamanic Journey: meeting your Power Animal
- Debrief and Q+A session
- Break
- Despacho ceremony (a traditional Andean thanksgiving ritual)
- Closing Sacred Space
